It’s official! Meet your 2025-2026 National Student Council.

A year ago, I decided to apply for the NJHS Outstanding Achievement Award because I have always strived to excel in all areas of my life, including academics, leadership, and service. When I learned about the opportunity to be recognized for my hard work and dedication, I knew I wanted to take advantage of it.

The National Junior Honor Society Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes middle-level students for their commitment to the five pillars of NJHS: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. The 500 NJHS students selected for the Outstanding Achievement Award receive a $500 college savings plan to support their educational aspirations.

The issue of food insecurity facing our nation is more pressing than ever. According to Feeding America, unemployment and food insecurity have soared in the wake of the pandemic. In 2021, 53 million people turned to food banks and community programs for help putting food on the table. Given this challenge, your chapter may want to host a food drive.
